Marker interface for a DataAccessProvider interface.

A DataAccessProvider is a service that may provide the server with data from a data store.

An implementation of this interface may raise alarms related to connection, communication and authentication by throwing one of the following exceptions (respectively):

      Returns whether this DataAccessProvider is thread-safe.

      By default this method checks if the type of this DataAccessProvider is marked with the ThreadSafe interface, which is the preferred means of indicating that a plug-in-provided service is thread-safe.

      If the decision requires access to runtime information (e.g. configuration), implementers may override this method.

      Returns:
      true if this DataAccessProvider is thread-safe, false otherwise.
