Enum Class AlarmSeverity
- All Implemented Interfaces:
Serializable,Comparable<AlarmSeverity>,Constable
The perceived severity of an
Alarm. An alarm's severity can get progressively worse. The gradient
of criticality is shown in the following figure (from no issue to the most impactful state):
CLEAR -> WARNING -> MINOR -> MAJOR -> CRITICAL
At any point, an alarm may go from one state to another. The severity of an alarm, however, follow this
succession. If an alarm is cleared, its severity progression will start over from CLEAR.
Notably absent from this progression is INDETERMINATE; if an alarm is in this state, its
severity is unknown.
