Interface ReadStamps

public interface ReadStamps

A read-only interface to get the timestamps of the binaries, sources and compilation products.

Method Summary

Stamp	binary(java.io.File binaryFile) Retrieves the stamp associated with a binary dependency (class file).
java.util.Map<java.io.File,Stamp>	getAllBinaryStamps() Returns a map of all the stamps associated with binary files.
java.util.Map<java.io.File,Stamp>	getAllProductStamps() Returns a map of all the stamps associated with product files.
java.util.Map<java.io.File,Stamp>	getAllSourceStamps() Returns a map of all the stamps associated with source files.
Stamp	product(java.io.File compilationProduct) Retrieves the stamp associated with a given class file.
Stamp	source(java.io.File internalSource) Retrieves the stamp associated with a given internal source.

product

Stamp product(java.io.File compilationProduct)

Retrieves the stamp associated with a given class file.

Parameters:

compilationProduct - The product produced by the current compilation run of a source file.

Returns:

The stamp for a class file.

Stamp source(java.io.File internalSource)

Retrieves the stamp associated with a given internal source.

Note that the internal source has to be a source under compilation.

Parameters:

internalSource - The source file under compilation.

Returns:

The stamp for the file.

binary

Stamp binary(java.io.File binaryFile)

Retrieves the stamp associated with a binary dependency (class file).

Parameters:

binaryFile - A class file that represents an external or internal dependency.

Returns:

The stamp for the file.

getAllBinaryStamps

java.util.Map<java.io.File,Stamp> getAllBinaryStamps()

Returns a map of all the stamps associated with binary files.

Returns:

A map of binary files to stamps.

java.util.Map<java.io.File,Stamp> getAllSourceStamps()

Returns a map of all the stamps associated with source files.

Returns:

A map of source files to stamps.

getAllProductStamps

java.util.Map<java.io.File,Stamp> getAllProductStamps()

Returns a map of all the stamps associated with product files.

Note that the returned map can be empty if no compilation has happened yet.

Returns:

A map of product files to stamps. (e.g. compile analysis is empty).
