public class PdfFileInformation
extends Object

Added as a repository to store PDF file metadata (both legacy fields and XML metadata) in so that it can be accesed.

Please see org.jpedal.examples (especially Viewer) for example code.

Returns:

list of field names

getFileXMLMetaData

public String getFileXMLMetaData()

Returns:

XML data embedded inside PDF

setFileXMLMetaData

public void setFileXMLMetaData(byte[] rawData)

set list of field names as file opened by JPedal (should not be used externally)

Parameters:

rawData - An array containing list of field names

getFieldValues

public String[] getFieldValues()

Returns:

list of field values to match field names (legacy non-XML information fields)

setFieldValue

public void setFieldValue(int i,
                          String convertedValue)

set the information values as file opened by JPedal (should not be used externally)

Parameters:

i - position of the pointer

convertedValue - new value of the pointer

readInformationObject

public void readInformationObject(PdfObject infoObj,
                                  ObjectDecoder objectDecoder)

read information object and return pointer to correct place

Parameters:

infoObj - a value of information object

objectDecoder - gets information of information object

readPdfFileMetadata

public final PdfFileInformation readPdfFileMetadata(PdfObject metadataObj,
                                                    PdfObjectReader currentPdfFile)

read the form data from the file

Parameters:

metadataObj - XML value

currentPdfFile - the Current PDF File

Returns:

form data from the file
