extends PVScalar

Get/put short data. Since Java does not support unsigned the actual arguments are signed. Code that calls methods of the class is responsible for integer overflow problems.

get

short get()

Get the short value stored in the field.

Returns:

the short value of field

put

void put(short value)

Put the short value into the field. If the field is immutable a message is generated and the field not modified.

Parameters:

value - the new value
