whether to enforce the use of signing on connection to this resource

Determines whether this resource path overlaps with another resource path by sharing a common root.

Parameters:

other - the other resource locator to compare with

Returns:

whether the paths share a common root

Throws:

CIFSException - if an error occurs during comparison

handleDFSReferral

String handleDFSReferral(DfsReferralData dr,
 String reqPath)

Internal: for testing only

Parameters:

dr - the DFS referral data to process

reqPath - the requested path to resolve

Returns:

resolved unc path
