public class Cob2HashMapConverter
extends AbstractCob2ObjectConverter<Map<String,Object>>

Converts mainframe data to a hash map.

Convenience class using Cob2ObjectVisitor to perform a record conversion.

Assumes a CobolComplexType is available. The CobolComplexType describes the incoming mainframe datum.

This class is immutable and Thread safe.

Parameters:

hostData - a byte array holding mainframe data

start - where to start in the mainframe byte array

length - where to stop in the mainframe byte array

Returns:

a result containing the produced object and how many bytes were actually processed in hostData
