         void setGravity(int gravity)

        The gravity to apply to the video position inside this view.

        The default value is CENTER

        Parameters:
        gravity - see Gravity for possible values

      • setMirror

         void setMirror(boolean isEnabled)

      • release

         void release()

        Required to be called to release used memory. Be sure to call this on your Activity/Fragment `onDestroy` method.

      • setScalingType

         void setScalingType(VideoView.ScalingType scalingType)

        Changes how video is displayed inside this view by applying different scaling options.

        Default behavior is ASPECT_FILL

        Parameters:
        scalingType - see ScalingType for possible values

      • setZOrderMediaOverlay

         void setZOrderMediaOverlay(boolean isMediaOverlay)

        Controls whether the video view's surface is placed on top of anotherregular surface view in the window (but still behind the window itself).This is typically used to place overlays on top of an underlying mediasurface view.

        Note that this must be set before the surface view's containingwindow is attached to the window manager.
