    A view that renders video stream.

    Ensure to call release once the view is not used anymore, for example when activity is destroyed or video communication has ended.

    It is also recommended to call to call pauseRendering, resumeRendering on related lifecycle methods of your Activity/Fragment to improve your app performance.

        Note that this must be set before the surface view's containingwindow is attached to the window manager.

      • setGravity

        The gravity to apply to the video position inside this view.

        The default value is CENTER

        Parameters:
        gravity - see Gravity for possible values

      • setScalingType

         abstract void setScalingType(VideoView.ScalingType scalingType)

        Changes how video is displayed inside this view by applying different scaling options.

        Default behavior is ASPECT_FILL
