       throws IOException

Deserializes data read from input stream.

Parameters:

ref - wrapper object can be reused, could be null(always return new wrapper object)

config - non-null configuration

column - non-null type information

input - non-null input stream

Returns:

deserialized value which might be the same instance as ref

Throws:

IOException - when failed to read data from input stream
