getStringTermEqualityFilter

protected org.springframework.ldap.filter.Filter getStringTermEqualityFilter(String propertyName,
 PropertyRestriction<String> termRestriction)

Returns a filter that applies byte String encoding to value when creating filter for ExternalId property. When searching by ObjectGUID the ActiveDirectory expects the value to be in 'Byte String' form, without any additional encoding. In this case it's required to pass the PropertyRestriction containing String value of ObjectGUID. For every other property it returns a filter with regular encoding (delegates to superclass).

Parameters:

propertyName - attribute name to be queried in AD

termRestriction - PropertyRestriction containing the value that will be searched for

Returns:

filter to be used in AD search
