public interface JdbcDialectFactory

A factory to create a specific JdbcDialect. This factory is used with Java's Service Provider Interfaces (SPI) for discovering.

Classes that implement this interface can be added to the "META_INF/services/org.apache.flink.connector.jdbc.dialect.JdbcDialectFactory" file of a JAR file in the current classpath to be found.

acceptsURL

boolean acceptsURL(String url)

Retrieves whether the dialect thinks that it can open a connection to the given URL. Typically, dialects will return true if they understand the sub-protocol specified in the URL and false if they do not.

Parameters:

url - the URL of the database

Returns:

true if this dialect understands the given URL; false otherwise.

create

JdbcDialect create()

Returns:

Creates a new instance of the JdbcDialect.
